About the name

WordPress.org is mostly confused with WordPress.com, which as we know are two different services, then the best is to rename the article as WordPress.org. Machibito (talk) 01:27, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Machibito: Wordpress.org is a redirect to this page. There are only 13 visits through that redirect in the last 90 days, which may indicate that people aren't coming through the redirect (though inwiki searches for WordPress.org will show this article not the redirect). Additionally, the hatnotes on both pages should suffice in directing readers to the article they want. Dead Link update.

There is a dead link (151) for the trademark transfer to the non-profit in 2010. There is a reasonable article from 2022 discussing this at https://skybrant.com/journey-of-the-wordpress-website-trademark/ Linuxboytoo (talk) 03:34, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Impact and Considerations of Recent WordPress Core Updates

I believe it is crucial for us to reflect on these updates and discuss how they align with the evolving needs of WordPress users and the development community.

WordPress 6.3 further develops the Full Site Editing (FSE) capabilities, allowing users to manage and customize more aspects of their site without needing custom code. These changes improve accessibility for non-developers but may also impact more experienced developers by limiting customization flexibility.
